In this week’s episode of Playing Yourself, Otis and Price will be discussing the most recent version of Monopoly: Monopoly: Cheaters Edition. This is a variant of the original game and as such, it has the same basic mechanics and rules. However, the twist is that everyone is allowed to cheat! While this is somewhat true, it doesn’t paint the full picture. The game offers rewards to challenges that consist of actions considered cheating in traditional Monopoly. It is a fun change of pace from other board games and also asks important questions about how the rules of games affect our moral compass.
