In this week’s episode, we will be discussing the mysterious game, Illimat. It is a game created by the indie band The Decemberists, relating to their album “Hazards of Love.” We will be diving into how to play the game and the reasons for the four different seasons and why they each have restrictions. We address the overall tone and comment on the values the game is calling attention to. Overall there is a resistance to modern society created by a vintage feeling to the game that makes it feel exclusive but more importantly handmade, which is unique because today games are now mass produced.
